    My husband is extremely fair but likes to be outside-- whether it be doing lawn and gardening work or just being outside by a pool or walking. He has had multiple skin cancers and precancers removed over the years. This hat has had the best and most thorough protection from the sun for him and still allows visibility and movement. He has tried over 20 different types of sun hats over the years but found this one to be the best. We have purchased at least 8 hats from this company and still keep buying more. They last a long time but my husband literally wears them every day for many hours. A great purchase for someone needing sun coverage.

    Got sick of my hair turning white in the summer sun, and never being able to apply sun screen enough to keep from burning. This hat is close to perfect. (The front velcro closures could be placed a little better, and not quite so much coverage is needed around the shoulders - I'm wearing a rash guard anyway.) Added bonus, recently jumping very high waves, this hat stays in place very well and keeps sun glasses from being washed off.
